Software Engineer
Build .NET Applications + AI Solutions

YNY Technology Sdn Bhd is looking for a hands-on Software Engineer who enjoys building robust .NET applications and integrating AI into real-world industrial systems.

What You’ll Do

Application Development
  • Design, develop, test, and maintain software applications based on project requirements.
  • Write clean, scalable, and high-quality code aligned with team standards and industry best practices.
  • Perform unit testing and ensure solutions meet quality standards before release.
  • Prepare clear technical documentation, specifications, and references.
Project Delivery
  • Work closely with Project Managers and Team Leaders to define scope, timelines, and technical deliverables.
  • Provide technical estimates and coordinate tasks throughout the full project lifecycle.
  • Identify project risks, recommend improvements, and implement action plans where needed.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure smooth implementation and successful delivery.
  • Support project planning by defining phases, milestones, and technical activities.
AI & Emerging Technologies
  • Design and integrate AI-powered features into new and existing systems where applicable.
  • Identify AI use cases and translate business needs into practical solutions.
  • Ensure AI implementations meet performance, security, reliability, and cost-efficiency requirements.
  • Explore retrieval-based AI approaches such as RAG for document search and intelligent Q&A systems.

Education & Experience

  • Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar software development role.
Technical Skills
  • Strong knowledge of C#, .NET Core, ASP.NET, MVC, WebAPI, and SQL/database design.
  • Proficiency in HTML5, CSS, React, and Blazor.
  • Solid understanding of stored procedures and object-oriented programming principles.
  • Experience integrating external systems such as MES, ERP, SCADA, PLC, or industrial platforms.
  • Familiarity with Azure DevOps or GitLab is an advantage.
  • Experience with Agile / Scrum methodologies is preferred.
  • Exposure to unit testing and performance testing is an advantage.
AI Skills
  • Working knowledge of Python for AI/ML development, automation, or prototyping.
  • Experience integrating AI services or APIs into applications.
  • Understanding of AI workflows, chat interfaces, and automation use cases.
  • Familiarity with prompt design, response handling, and AI limitations.
  • Awareness of AI security, privacy, and responsible AI practices.
  • Exposure to RAG-based solutions is a plus.
Soft Skills
  • Strong communication and documentation skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively across teams.
  • Strong problem-solving mindset and ownership of technical delivery.
