To remain resilient & sustainable, water utilities can adopt a digitalization approach thru Unified Operation Centre (UOC), an integrated operational system with an Industry 4.0 based paradigm; pilot artificial intelligence toward the prognosis of unaccounted-for-water and use cloud & AI to empower connected workers in this new norm.

Improper design of the system and the successful #cyberattacks can cause unplanned downtime which affects operation efficiency, not to mention the increment of costs to restore the systems or water environment back to the normal state.
